Updated Eyebrow Routine

One day while shopping around my favorite beauty supply my friend Susan works at I noticed for great her eyebrows looked I asked her how she does them and she uses a small angeled brush with an powder eyeshadow and she just dampens the brush with fix plus dips it in the powder and shapes her brows and the best part is that being that using the shadow wet makes them last all day. I started doing this and my brows have never looked better.

Sephora and Disney Princess Collection

I am a huge Disney fan in general so when I heard about this collaboration I was very excited. Each collection has the Storylook Palette, compact, perfume, quad, nail polish and a set of products that's special to each princess Cinderella had a set of lipsticks and Jasmine has a set of eyeliners. The only thing from the collections I'm really interested in are the compacts I do like the Storylooks Pallets but I just don't think I use them. The first release the Cinderella were I bought the Stroke of Midnight compact which I love so much it has a clock with roman numerals on it is silver with gold and blue with the castle in the back round. The second collection is princess Jasmine with the Palace Jewel Compact which is gold with a pinky purpley back of the city of Agraba its also has a raised pattern on top of it. I love this collaboration between Sephora and Disney and I will continue to buy compacts in hopes to collect them all.

P.S. I have heard from a few little birdies that in late summer early fall The Little Mermaid will be next.

Bdellium Tools Brushes

I know there is alot of hype around Sigma and Sedona Lace brushes, I own a sigma set and they are good brushes but I prefer my Bdellium tools studio brushes the ones with the yellow handles. There at a really nice price point totally affordable. I'm gonna share my favorites with you ill start with face brushes first cause that's what I own more of lol.

The first one is 975S its a big soft powder brush. Its super soft and doesn't shed like my sigma brush.

Number two 945S contour brush I use this brush with my Too Faced Chocolate soleil Bronzer love it it applys so nice. Really buffs it into your skin.

Number three 942S is the angled blush brush. I like this one so much better that the sigma one. The Sigma brush is big and all frayed out the Bdellium one is smaller and holds its shape way better.

Number four is 953S is small duo fiber brush I use this for highlighter and creme products. I have yet to find a company that makes a brush like this one.

Number five is my all holy grail eyeshadow blending brush the 776S I have so much love for this brush it isn't funny.

Number six is a great brush to apply shadow and blend it out at the same time. I don't have a lot of lid space so this brush works great for me because its small and fits my eye size and shape great.

I really love my Bdellium tools brushes and I hope this will help anybody out who is thinking about buying any of these brushes.

IMATS Los Angeles 2013

I went to my first Imats a couple weekends ago and had an absolute blast I went with my good friend and fellow makeup artist Celina. I didn't go crazy buying stuff but I did shop at the Bdellium Tools booth were I bought four brushes the 975S, 942S, 945S, 776S. I didn't go to Imats to shop being that its open to the public there are some deals and discount but to be honest I get a better deal with my pro card at Namies and other beauty supplies like that whenever I want. I went for the experience to see some speakers. I did meet a few past contestants from the hit TV show Face Off and some great YouTube beauty gurus. Don't get me wrong I had a great time but will I go next year probably not unless there is a speaker I really want to see.

Glisten is light warm pink with gold sheen to it, its my new everyday blush it goes with every look.

My 12 favorites of 2012!

I hope everyone had wonderful holiday and new year! Ive decided not to do a December favorites I didn't find anything new and I used all my trusted product which have been in past favorites before or I didn't wear makeup. So for yearly favorites I decided I would do 12 of my most loved makeup products of the year. No tools or brushes I'm trying to decided if I want to post those or not. P.S. I took the group photo after I decided to not do tools and brushes that's why my Beauty Blender is in the pic.Oh and I forgot to include Urban Decay All Nighter.

XOXO Brooke

1.) First all just start off with my favorite foundation of the year Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. love the finish wear time and its the best foundation match I've ever tried.

2.) Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer In the shade Chocolate. Its dark enough to give me some color and definition to my face but not to dark were id look stupid.

3.) The blush I practically lived in this year Lorac Rendezvous blush this blush looks so polished and healthy on my skin I just truly love this blush and will be so disappointed when I use it up because its LE so i cant go buy another one.

4.) my favorite highlighter of 2012 is Mac Extra Dimension Skinfinish Whisper of Guilt such a nice light gold glow on the cheek bones.

5.) Is how I style my eyebrows I have fair colored eyebrows and have dark brunette hair so I have to use a dark color on my brows to balance them out but I hate really drawn on brows or chola or cartoon-y brows so I use NYX Brown Perfection slide on eyeliner but I apply it with E.L.F's small angled brush for natural looking brows that last all day and night.

6.) The best eyeshadow primer for my eyes is Urban Decays Primer Potion.

7.) I love theses creme shadows I use them as bases to create depth to my eye looks.

8.) My Urban Decay Smoked Pallet I can make a great everyday simple look or a great smokey look that has depth and dimension to it with the dark jeweled tone shadows.

9.) Oh great makeup gods thank you so much for creating this product its so beautiful and it is L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Amber Rush which is a true rose gold shade. There a wonderful formula and its way pigmented but its also got this great sparkle to it.

10.) The best lip treatment ever the Fresh Sugar lip treatment.
11.) The perfect lipstick for me mac's Pure Zen.

12.) Is Urban Decays All Nighter Setting Spray which I don't have a photo of whoops.

So that's My 12 favorites of 2012 I truly loved and enjoyed all of these and hope everyone had a fun kickass new year and was safe.
